Frances Morrison

Frances was born in Aberdeen and studied music at Chethamís School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. In 1994 Frances joined Scottish Opera performing various roles with the company, including the Ordinary Person in James Macmillanís Ines de Castro, which was broadcast for BBC TV and screened at the Barbican in London. She regularly performs with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera in their Sounds of Singing series, which works alongside various Education Authorities in Scotland.

Frances has worked with the BBC singers in London, Opera North in Leeds she has recorded with Scottish Voices as well as performing in concerts at the West End Festival and Glasgow University. She regularly performs Oratorio with various Choral Societies throughout Scotland.
